Date energy balls are one of the healthiest snacks to have, specially if you are watching your waistline. Firstly, because, they give you ample amount of energy and also because they suppress your hunger for some time.
There are so many ways, you can put these together, by adding ingredients of your choice. This is how I made them here, but there are many variations you can do, examples of which follow at the end of the recipe.

Recipe for Date Balls
Things you need:
- Pitted dates 1 cup (soaked in warm water for 15 minutes)
- Almonds 3/4 cup
- Cinnamon powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground Flaxseed 1 tablespoon
What you need to do:
- In a food processor, pulse your nuts until they are coarsely chopped, take them out in a bowl.
- Now pulse your dates until you get a paste.
- Mix the dates with the nuts, along with cinnamon and flaxseed powder.
- Start making balls.
- Put the balls in the fridge for half an hour to set.
- Store in an air tight container.
- Yields 15-18 balls.
