Tom Yum Goong

Tom Yum is a very popular Thai hot and sour soup, usually cooked with prawns, but chicken and fish could also be used, or can also be made vegetarian. It is made by boiling the broth with ingredients such as lemon grass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, lime juice, fish sauce along with the paste of crushed red chili peppers. It is becoming very popular all around the world. If you want to try to make it at home, you could get a commercial tom yum paste from the market. Vegetables such as mushrooms, green chilies and cauliflower are also added for extra flavor.
